Does Applebees's drug test you for employment?

Im 18 and they are hiring. Don't sit here and tell i am stupid for smoking bud. i am a grown girl and can make decisions for myself thanks I am not gonna die from smoking once in awhile. All I want to know is if they make you take a drug test and is it a urine test or to they test your saliva????

not at the one i worked for... don't worry about it if you get the job you will soon see that you can find anything your heart wants in that industry...the restaurants are mostly potheads and dopers...

They might. They are very corporate and may very well drug test. Most corporations use a urine analysis. I used this synthetic urine purchased in a head shop called "Quick Fix". I passed my test a-ok and I've been smoking for three years straight, with maybe a week or two of sobriety thrown in there. But yeah, I highly recommend Quick Fix, it's about $30.

It's very possible they do! I work at a chain restaurant and they test when you get hired, randomly throughout the year, and if you have an accident you want to claim on Worker's Compensation. You can call the restaurant and ask them, or my restaurant has a sticker on their door that says "Drug Free Employees"

Oh definitely. They strongly frown against minimum wage workers that use recreational drugs in their spare time and don't believe the high turnover rate is a significant reason not to pay for the very expensive and somewhat flawed drug testing. You must be the smartest po-thead ever.

No, I don't know of any restaurant that does.. Unless it's a big company their not going to waste the $.
