there is a new 'pizza hut' italian restaurant that just opened up by the mall. i havent checked it out yet, but it seems nice. other than that, any take out place isn't going to be that great. applebee's (over by old navy/mens wearhouse area) has a takeout service that you can use, if you call in your order ahead of time.

I know this was asked nine years ago, but if anyone else is looking, please know that you can get takeout anywhere, not just at lame national chains. Portland has well over 500 restaurants, and most of them are privately owned. Try Silly's for casual, Duck Fat for casual with a French touch, Fore Street for fine dining, locally sourced . . . You could blindfold yourself and stumble into a better, more interesting restaurant than fricking Applebee's.
