As there are no current holders of a Michelin star in either Texas or Nevada I would seriously doubt the validity of "myopinionmatters" review. The guide was suspended in Vegas in 2010 and has not been published since; leaving only past winners with no current holders. Additionally there has never been a Michelin guide published for any city in Texas making it impossible to find a Michelin starred restaurant in the state.
For 2014 the only cities/metro areas with current Michelin starred restaurants are Chicago, San Francisco, and New York.

Are you people serious? Dallas alone has many world class restaurants. I've been in fine dining all over the country for almost two decades, and Dallas can compete with almost anywhere in the country. I currently work at a Michelin starred restaurant in Vegas, and there are several places in Dallas that could rival it.

No I havent eaten in a Michelin starred place and I dont think I would want to.The food may be nice but it would be pricey, the portions teeny weeny. The best places I have dined have been in the most out of the way places where you wouldnt expect such great dining experiences. From little cafes in Bali to Roadhouses.
